ATTN: Chicago node 2 VPS hard drive has been replaced. All VPS conatiners were backed up and restored on the new hard drive. We don't forsee any lose of data, thankfully, but it may happen as the old hard drive was failing.. We hope all your data is present. We have caught a possible hardware failure with a hard drive on this VPS server. We need to run some tests on it to be sure, but we need to take the server offline for an hour to run them. We do not like taking servers offline, but this is required for this so we catch this before it becomes a full hardware dataloss. We have revied our policy on outgoing SMTP email for you. With this we have made a change to our port for you to send emails, since most ISP's block the standard ports used for SMTP. YOu can now change your outgoing SMPT port to 425 for your outgoing email. We have recieved a lot of feedback regarding this, and have decided you were right. We need to perform maintenance on the ccnode1 VPS server. We will perform this maintenance at 12AM EST. This should only take less than 5 minutes and will result in a server reboot. There is nothing anyone should worry about as far as losst data, but you have the option to run a backup of your VPS container to our backup server. In an effort to streamline our hosting business we have setup dedicated nameserver to handle our domain traffic. With that, it will not mattter what server your site is hosted on, you will use the same nameserver accross the board.
